INTERESTED IN HOSTING A SHOW?
Thanks for your interest in hosting me in concert! My concert is about one hour long. I share around 10-12 songs, telling the story behind each song and inviting the audience to sing along on a few parts and some hymns. I also do a few merch giveaways. I can bring my own instruments and sound equipment. I've sung for as few as ten to twenty people and for over one hundred people and always pray that each listener is refreshed in the Lord by coming.
Here's how we set up a concert:
- Decide your venue: Your church? Church fellowship hall? Your living room? Community center? Your backyard?? It can be anywhere!
- Decide who you want to invite…Is it for the entire church? Youth group? Your Sunday school class? Your Bible study group? Your friends? Neighbors? It's preferable to have at least 15 attendees.
- Message me with your available dates and we'll find a date and time that works for both of us.
- Decide whether you'd like to give a donation and/ or allow me to set out a tip jar (churches have been calling it a “love offering"). I also need permission to set up my merch table to sell t-shirts, bracelets, etc. Between host donation/ tips/ love offering and merch sales, I aim to make $250 at each concert so I can afford to keep making quality recordings. Think about how you prefer to handle this part and let me know!
- I will text you a digital invitation that you can text to people you're inviting; you can ask them to RSVP so you can plan food and seating accordingly. You can also post the graphics on social media if everyone is invited. I suggest sending a digital invitation two weeks before the event and again a few days before the event.
- Plan your snacks! You can fix whatever you like, but I think the perfect combo is one salty snack, one sweet snack, water, and soda. Decide if you want everyone to get snacks before or after the singing.
- Make sure you have enough seating if doing a living room or backyard show--they can sit on furniture and you can bring in dining room chairs and folding chairs if needed!
- I will arrive an hour before the show to set up my gear and merch table and do a sound check.
- At concert time, you (the host) will welcome guests and introduce me. At the end of the concert, please remind guests to visit the merch table. Some hosts have had someone close the night with a prayer, which has been a really sweet ending to several concerts!
I'd love to come sing for you and your friends and be mutually encouraged in the Lord! Click the Contact button today and let's start planning!
